Summer Events

Join us for Sundays in July! Each Sunday during the month of July we host services followed by lemonade and pound cake under the pines.

This year’s Theme is Head, Heart and Hand. A common motto of the Arts & Crafts movement, Head, Heart and Hand has inspired countless people to bring all of them -- their creativity, imagination, intelligence, honesty, love, skill, and craft -- to their work and lives.

The series will be an exploration of the motto, with each speaker offering their own perspective on a facet, to show how this over-century-old motto continues to inspire today.

We often think of grief as an emotional process, one primarily taking place in our heart and soul. But what is grief doing to your brain? Stef will share some of the science around grief and the brain, along with her personal experience after the death of her husband, Joshua, in 2019

Stef Morrill is the director of River Valley Commons and has made a career of creating and managing collaborative projects, first in the library world and now in the River Valley.
